Trevor D. Anderson
Trevor is an experienced trial and transactional attorney with an extensive background in criminal, domestic and civil litigation. Prior to joining Cowardin, Kim & Riddle Mr. Anderson worked as a senior associate for a litigation firm based in Alexandria, Virginia and has argued on his clients’ behalf in numerous jurisdictions throughout the Commonwealth as well as before the Virginia Court of Appeals and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Mr. Anderson is an impassioned advocate who is honored to work with his clients and cares deeply about fostering successful relationships with each one through transparency and constant communication. No matter how complex or overwhelming a particular issue may seem, Mr. Anderson prides himself of being able to provide each client with a straightforward, easy-to- understand strategy so that they can make important decisions in a timely manner.
Mr. Anderson earned his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (2011) and his B.A. from Virginia Tech (2008). Prior to going into private practice he clerked, both, for the Maryland State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County and the Honorable Patricia A. Broderick of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia. He has also held positions with the General Counsel’s Office of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, the U.S. House of Representatives and as a student attorney for the Mid-Atlantic Innocence Project.
