Mr. Cowardin is a cofounder of the firm. A graduate of the Virginia Military Institute (1963) and Marshall Wythe School of Law of the College of William and Mary (1966).

After serving the legal needs of the Peninsula for 53 years Bill retired from the practice of law in July 2019.
